We have provided £74,079 for Bibles since February 1988. We are not only distributing Bibles and Bible studies to church congregations but also in prisons where we have seen many prisoners becoming Christians. The Bible Society in Blantyre have recently produced a study Bible in Chichewa with teaching notes and a concordance.
Although, we have provided many Bibles, the need for more still remains. Bibles were distributed in one area where eight churches were sharing just two Bibles. Also, many Bibles have been swept away during four recent cyclones.

Bible Studies
In 2010, we produced our first Bible study booklet in both English and Chichewa. [We have since produced two more.] I thought that we might be able to use 100 copies. We have now printed and distributed 142,818 booklets.
In August 2011 we printed the first 20,000 copies of these studies and Chichewa. The first distribution of some of these studies took place on 18th August, when about 500 church leaders met together at Chinsomba Village in order to receive studies for their congregations. During this launch, Area Pastor Justin Kuleti came to Lameck in tears of joy. He said that about a year ago he had had a dream in which he saw a picture of the area where most of their churches are located. Everything was dry and barren and the people miserable. He then saw the church leaders giving out some green booklets. [He even got the colour right.] Afterwards the landscape turned green and everyone reached out their hands with joy for a copy of these studies. He had had this dream even before I wrote them
Scripture Sheets
Although we have provided over £74,000 for Bibles, many of these have been washed away during four recent cyclones. Also, providing Bibles for the congregations of over 600 churches is very costly, and church members would also need a concordance or a smart phone to find appropriate scriptures.
We have therefore started to prepare and print A3 size sheets of scripture passages on various subjects in Chichewa. It currently costs about £1,500 to print 12,000 sheets.
Church members are encouraged to hang these sheets on their walls and to speak them out regularly.
We started with the subject of tithing and God's promise to provide food, and followed it with the subject of our position in Christ.

Baptisms
Baptisms in Malawi would take place in a river or a pool, as shown in this video of a recent baptism near Nkhate Village.
Most rivers are inhabited with crocodiles, so it takes some courage for pastors to stand in a river to baptise the many people who a regularly being added to their churches.
